The president of the Sri Lanka is in Seoul, South Korea on a state visit


The President of Sri Lanka, Maithripala Sirisena, arrived in Korea today at the invitation of President Moon, marking the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between the two countries.

 President Maithripala Sirisena was accorded a warm welcome as he arrived at the Incheon International Airport in Seoul this morning, for a three-day state visit to South Korea.



 President Sirisena visited the Jogyesa Temple and greeted by President Moon Jae in.

President Sirisena will pay a visit to the National Cemetary tomorrow morning.

President Moon Jae-in and President Sirisena will hold a summit meeting and sign key agreements and MOUs.

President Moon will also host a state dinner in honor of his visiting Sri Lankan counterpart. President Sirisena is the third state guest to visit the country since President Moon Jae-in took office in May.
